At Edinburgh the seventeenth day of  January 1916, the following Inventory of the Personal Estate of Laurence Smith and Deed Relative to the disposal  thereof were presented by J.C. Scott, 66 Queen Street ,Edinburgh.

 

Inventory of the moveable or  personal estate and effects wheresoever situated , of the late Laurence Smith , late of 16 Dudley Gardens , Leith, who died on nineteenth day of November 1915.

2. Cash at Bankers. ( Nat Bank of Scotland, Leith.)            £51.01.11d

3. Household furniture and other effects conforming

    to inventory and valuation by Mess’rs C. & J. Brown

    Licensed Valuators . 17th December 1915.                       £30.18.06d

4. Salary due to deceased  by Mess’rs James Currie &

    Co., shipowners, at date of death.                                     £10.06.05d

5. Sum due to deceased by Mess’rs James Currie & Co.,

    in respect of bonus or additional salary as at date of

    death.                                                                                  £159.05.09d

6. Twenty six  shares at £100 each of Leith, Hull &

    Hamburg Steam Packet Co.,Ltd., at Par.                         £2500.00.00d

7. Sum due by Royal Insurance Co., Ltd., in respect of

    Policy of Insurance on deceased’s life.                           £281.00.00d

8. Proportion of Annuity due as at deceased’s death by
